During the
early 1980s, Westclox briefly re-introduced the style 7 Big
Ben which had originally been made from 1956 until 1963. The
movement design of the new clock was very similar to the
durable Westclox series 66 movement. Very few of
these clocks ever made it to the public because the style 9
Big Ben was already in production in 1980, and was doing well. We
located a small inventory of these style 7 Big Bens, new and
in the original boxes. These are never used,
wind-up alarm clock by Westclox, in the original box. It
has a brass bezel, with an ivory metal case back, brown
dial and white luminous
numbers. It has a
separate key to wind time and alarm and separate stems to set
them. The ticking sound is moderately loud, but the
alarm is LOUD!! The original boxes are not that great, but
they were good enough to protect these clocks for 24 years.
It's practically an antique already! Made by Westclox in
Brazil. When these are gone, we may not ever find any
more! At the time of this listing, we have only 4 available. Manufactured in: November,
1981. Size:
5" x 4 3/4" x 3"
Warranty:
Because the Westclox warranty ran out on
these clocks in 1982, we are servicing them individually and
are offering our own ONE YEAR WARRANTY. (The same
as when new.) You will receive a warranty certificate
directly from the Alarm Clock Doc.
