  This Insta-Set 40001 Digital Alarm Clock by Equity Time automatically displays the correct time from the moment you power it up. It also springs ahead and falls back automatically when the Daylight Saving Time (DST) change occurs twice a year. No adjustment by the user or detection of an external signal by the clock is ever needed for DST changes. In normal operation, information displayed in the LCD panel includes the time in large bold digits, indoor temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius, month, and date.   On this clock, the entire display can be turned off to conserve battery power.  This is a rare feature on clock of any price !!
