The case is modeled after the classic 1931 Style 3 Big ben as designed by Industrial Design pioneer, Henry Dreyfuss. Nickel-finished trim with black all metal case, quartz movement, black dial and ascending beep alarm. Runs on one "AA" battery. It has a second hand and alarm set hand on the dial. A heavy clock. We are very pleased with Westclox' attention to detail in making this reproduction of the first Dreyfuss-designed Big Ben. You will love it too! Imported.
